Whether you use your .22 rifle or pistol for fun shooting and plinking, varmint hunting, or practice, it is always a good idea to have plenty of .22 ammo on hand. And, being soooo much cheaper than almost every other caliber out there, it is definitely the best all around caliber for the money.
Right now, Dunham’s Sporting Goods is offering a great deal on .22LR ammunition. Remington’s Golden Bullet 525 round value pack sells normally for around $23, but right now they are on sale for $17.99. This is a great chance to stock up and save some money at the same time. I’ve used several different kinds of .22 ammo, and I’ve found that while the Federal and Thunderbolt ammo seem to have about 10-20 duds per 525rd. case, I have actually NEVER had a dud come out of a case of Golden Bullets. It seems as though the quality is definitely better.
